More Landscape

Although I do not do this area justice with my amateur photography, I was reminded during this assignment of the beauty of my surroundings. I am indeed fortunate.

Darling Hill

Again, Darling Hill

My favorite, Willoughby Lake
from a lookout on Mt. Hor

I like this one too however my photography does not begin to capture the beauty of this sunset.

  2. Love the sunset! Excellent job capturing the colors. You don't give yourself enough credit. you have taken some very nice shots here. The bend in the road on the top photo get me thinking. Very nice!

  3. Really nice colors in the sunset photo! And I like the tree lined road. It is captivating because there is a little mystery behind it.
Give yourself more credit! You've taken some nice photos!!

  4. I agree with everyone else...excellent photos!! I like the winding road because you get a feel there is something else that is beyond what you see. A lead in to some story. Great job!

  6. I'm also a fan of your work because these are shots of areas around my house too! I really enjoy looking at our 'home area' through someone else's eyes...nice work!

  9. The first three are wonderful. They all use the elements we have covered. They are well composed, have good contrast, and have motion created through perspective or visual interest.

The last one of the sunset, I must say is a nice attempt, though you really need to get a tripod to do this kind of work justice. It looks great here on the web, but I did notice that the ISO was set rather high for this shot. There is a lot of graininess in the darks and where the flash is slightly lighting up the foreground. It is also slightly blurry, which can be eliminated using a tripod.
